36% Organic Shea butter, 36%,Organic Coconut Oil, 10% Beeswax, 18% Non-Nano Zinc oxide
Shea Butter is anti-inflammatory, prevents premature ageing and is highly moisturising.
Coconut Oil has a natural, although low, SPF & keeps the skin moisturised.
Sustainably-sourced unrefined beeswax is non-toxic, locks in moisture, has excellent water-repellant properties and is naturally nourishing to the skin. Anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anti-allergenic and a germicidal antioxidant makes it a perfect sunscreen ingredient.
Non-Nano Zinc Oxide, pharmaceutical grade, offers the safest, broadest-spectrum sun protection possible,. With a cooling, slightly astringent, antiseptic, antibacterial and protective action on the skin.
Please note:
Always be careful in the sun, especially at the hottest part of the day where the sun is also the strongest.
Apply generously at least 15 minutes before going out into the sun.
Reapply often or every 20-25 minutes and especially after exposure to water and sweating.
Cover up if you feel like your skin is burning or if it feels sore and looks red from sun burn.
Once opened use within 12 months, if not opened it has a shelf life of 3 years.
Unlike chemical UV filters which create chemical UV barriers within the skin, natural mineral sun creams create a layer on top of the skin to protect it. It will leave a white tinge to your skin when applied, but this is necessary and washes off and wears off.
