Nutritional yeast flakes, fortified with B12, provide a rich source of B vitamins and minerals ideal for vegans. Yeast flakes are a natural food grown on fortified beet molasses under carefully controlled conditions. Dissolve in water to create a stock suitable for soups, stews and casseroles to enhance their flavour. Often used as a vegan alternative to cheese sauces and cheeses, sprinkle on top of meals such as pasta for a Parmesan-like tasting finishing touch.
Nutritional yeast is processed from primary yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) specially grown on fortified beet molasses. The yeast is roller drum dried to form homogenous flakes. As a result Nutritional Yeast Flakes fortified with B12 are a valuable vegan source of zinc, vitamin B12 and other B-group vitamins along with providing high quality proteins and natural fibres.

All dried food orders are packed in home compostable brown paper bags.
Food labels can be recycled.
Some food items contain natural oils which may be absorbed by the brown paper bags. These food items will be double bagged to prevent natural oils seeping through onto other items, however, this may still occur.
We recommend putting your dried food items in airtight or semi airtight containers to retain freshness.
